Autoreader

AutoReader Settings has been updated to include a new option that allows users to exclude Auto Repeat documents from deduplication match results. When this option is enabled, documents generated by the Auto Repeat system are omitted from the candidate list during AutoReader matching, giving users more precise control over how deduplication is handled.

BEAM

Two updates have been made in this release of BEAM. A bug fix corrects an issue where basic_rate was being assigned as a string rather than evaluated as a number in the add_or_associate function, ensuring accurate rate calculations. Additionally, the documentation has been expanded to include a network printer settings configuration example, making it easier for users to set up network printing.

Cloud Storage

Cloud Storage received several improvements across recent releases. A custom validate method was added to the File Doctype override to properly handle direct file uploads that are not attached to a document, applying custom validation rules in those cases. The file_content method was also updated with the @frappe.whitelist decorator, allowing it to be called from the client side without triggering a permission error.

On the infrastructure side, the backport configuration was updated, a codespell pre-commit hook was added, and the pre-commit configuration for Test Utils was refreshed to improve code quality and maintainability.

Inventory Tools

Inventory Tools received a significant set of updates in this release. The most notable addition is a new faceted search feature that enables attribute-based filtering for items, complete with color picker, date range, and numeric range filter components. A company field was also added to Workstation customizations, and alternative workstations were made configurable with support for name-based searching.

On the maintenance side, backport configuration was added alongside a codespell pre-commit hook, CI override tracking was introduced for purchase, stock, and manufacturing cycles, and various pre-commit fixes and cleanups were applied to improve overall code quality.

Test Utils has been updated with the addition of a quarantine Warehouse fixture. This new fixture expands the available testing resources, making it easier to set up and manage warehouse-related test scenarios within the Test Utils framework.
