BEAM

Version 15.4.0 brings ZPL utility support to BEAM, backporting a set of powerful label-printing tools into the v15 line. This includes labelary print preview functionality for rendering labels as images, as well as py-zebra-zpl wrappers exposed as Jinja methods, supporting both text-based and object-oriented interfaces for generating ZPL content.

Inventory Tools

Version 15.4.0 introduces an important architectural improvement by replacing the global get_item_details monkey patch with a targeted Purchase Order method override. This change resolves an issue where creating a Subcontracting Purchase Order from a Work Order would incorrectly fail to validate non-stock items.

Version 15.3.1 delivers a bug fix that adds previously missing physical dimension fields to both the Physical Dimension Doctype JSON definition and its corresponding Python model. Building on this, version 15.3.0 introduced the Physical Dimension Doctype itself, providing a dedicated structure for tracking item physical dimensions. The Doctype was renamed from its original Item Dimension name and updated to enforce non-negative dimension values, ensuring data integrity across inventory records.
