Autoreader

Version 15.2.0 introduces fuzzy matching capabilities to the Autoreader mapping layer, powered by RapidFuzz. This enhancement allows documents to be matched even when field values contain minor spelling or formatting differences, making the matching process more robust and flexible. The scorer and related configuration options are now customizable on a per-doctype and per-field basis, giving users greater control over matching behavior.

As part of this release, the Deduplication Settings document has been renamed to AutoReader Settings, better reflecting its expanded scope. A bug fix was also included to address an incorrect Docstatus filter that was affecting non-submittable Doctypes.

Check Run

Version 15.1.2 delivers several important fixes and enhancements to Check Run. Serialization issues for null transactions have been resolved, and Payment Entry handling has been updated throughout the codebase. Additionally, a fix was applied to correctly calculate Payment Schedule outstanding amounts, along with the introduction of an on_cancel hook with supporting tests.

This release also adds the ability to allow or disallow standalone Debit Notes within a Check Run, providing more flexibility in how payment runs are configured and processed.

Inventory Tools

Version 15.1.0 brings several infrastructure and feature improvements to Inventory Tools. The release.yaml configuration has been updated to support both version 14 and version 15 branches, and Inventory Tools Settings have been added to the boot process for version 15. The project has also been migrated from a standard pyproject.toml setup to Poetry for improved dependency management.

On the version 14 side, release 14.6.1 introduces a fix to make weight required when a weight UOM is present and vice versa. CI override tracking has been expanded to cover stock, manufacturing, and purchase cycles (Purchase Order, Purchase Invoice, and Purchase Receipt), and the alternative workstation feature has been backported to version 14 with configurable workstation names and search support.

Test Utils

Test Utils saw a series of incremental releases with meaningful improvements across versions 0.12.0 through 0.14.1. New fixture builders were added for Bank, Bank Account, Mode of Payment, and Holiday List (with country-based filtering), along with alternative Chart of Accounts fixtures supporting Farm and IFRS variants. An update_pre_commit_config utility was introduced to automatically keep pre-commit hook versions up to date in project configuration files.

Additional pre-commit hook improvements were shipped across multiple releases, including a new mypy hook with default arguments, improved exit codes and error messages in customization hooks, and the removal of set-module from customization validation logic. These updates collectively improve the developer experience and code quality tooling across AgriTheory projects.
