Autoreader

Autoreader gained a Twilio SMS integration for outbound text message notifications. Follow-up work addressed phone number formatting, improved message body content, and resolved a bug with attachment handling.

BEAM

BEAM Mobile development received significant updates across scanning, reconciliation, and list view functionality. Dependencies were updated and a configurable scan output component was introduced, providing users with greater control over what is displayed during scanning workflows. The debug UI received context improvements, and documentation restructuring began toward the end of March.

Stock Reconciliation was a primary focus: incremental item counting was added, warehouse assignment logic was improved and stabilized, empty Item Code filtering was corrected, and a dedicated Reconciliation page was built out — including proper handling for Stock Reconciliation Item warehouse scans and general style and code quality improvements.

Check Run

Check Run received a fix ensuring that Payment Entries where the Mode of Payment is not "Check" are excluded from print and render operations, preventing unintended output. Supporting maintenance work included a pre-commit configuration update and a pyproject.toml correction.

Fleet

Fleet saw extensive feature development centered on Traccar integration. Initial work removed the welcome email for Traccar users and updated Docker documentation with environment variable guidance. New API calls were added alongside expanded test coverage for vehicles, customers, logs, and locations — including a simulation loop for location routes.

Subsequent development introduced an Asset–Vehicle integration, a custom cron job (running every two minutes) for vehicle sync, a Vehicle override, and a Fleet Manager role scoped to the Traccar user for proper permissions. Additional improvements included switching from socket-based to POST-based communication, adding driver support, introducing new unit of measure fields, updating vehicle sync and Vehicle Log logic, and fixing battery voltage data display and map visibility. The Traccar simulator and Asset integration branches were merged into the main version-15 branch at the close of March.

Inventory Tools

Inventory Tools had one of its most active development periods, with substantial progress across warehouse mapping, pathfinding, and demand planning.

In Warehouse Plan warehouses can now be drawn and saved directly in each Warehouse record. Pathfinding support was added, including accessible cell detection, walkable path fixtures, and the ability to select the nearest accessible cell. The UI received several improvements: cell position and walkable status are shown on hover, right-click default browser behavior is suppressed on warehouse shapes, a warehouse search was added to the floor plan, a preview dialog was introduced, and context menu styling was aligned with popups. A debounce was applied to the warehouse hover popup for smoother interaction, and the overlay was moved into a fixed footer element. Read-only mode is now enforced for users without edit permissions. LIFO/FIFO bin depletion rules were introduced in an initial version, with max/min bin depletion logic also added. Bug fixes addressed posting time, settings, and fixture data.

The Material Demand report can now optionally be driven from Sales Orders, Material Requests, or both.

SAML

We have a released a new application to integrate SAML-based authentication integration for Frappe. Keycloak test and demo fixtures were added to support local testing, and role mapping was implemented — allowing SAML roles to be mapped to Frappe user roles and Role Profiles. Test infrastructure was expanded with a setup function, bench port detection for realm export file generation, and CI configuration to provision test data via bench services. A Role Profile fixture and early work on a logout hook rounded out the effort.
