Electronic Payments
Version 15.8.0 introduced two notable improvements to the Electronic Payment Settings experience. The settings document has been reorganized so that each payment provider now has its own dedicated section, making configuration easier to navigate. A new BaseProvider class has also been introduced to define a shared interface and common transaction processing logic for all providers, streamlining the process of adding support for new payment providers in the future.
Version 15.8.1 followed shortly after with a housekeeping change: the Stripe dependency has been removed from the project configuration, as Stripe is no longer bundled directly with the application.
Fleet
Version 15.1.1 delivers a mix of bug fixes, new functionality, and improved documentation. A bug that caused an error when creating a Location while Traccar syncing was disabled has been resolved — the system now only attempts to load location data when syncing is active. Route optimization for Delivery Trips has also been added using Pyvroom, which computes the most efficient stop sequence for a given set of destinations. Additionally, the installation documentation has been updated with troubleshooting guidance to help users work through common setup issues.
Inventory Tools
Version 15.6.0 is a major release centered on the introduction of a Warehouse Management System (WMS). The new WMS page features an interactive, Konva-powered grid that allows users to place and rotate Warehouse shapes, designate walkable paths, search for specific Warehouses, and view the plan in a read-only mode for users without edit permissions. Supporting this feature are new Physical Dimension and Item Dimension Doctypes, additional plan-related fields on the Warehouse Doctype, a plan toolbar, a Warehouse preview dialog, and accessible cell pathing.
Beyond the WMS, this release also adds an alternative Workstation page with a branch view and Work Order operation customizations, refactors Alternative Workstations to support generalization and fallbacks, and introduces CI override tracking via GitHub Actions for Production Plans, Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, Stock Entries, Work Orders, and Workstations. Several UX and code quality improvements round out the release, including fixes to the warehouse hover popup, permissions-based edit mode toggling, and unsaved-change tracking on grid edits.
Test Utils
Three releases of Test Utils landed in quick succession this cycle, all focused on the clean_customized_doctypes function. Version 1.2.0 introduced the clean_customized_doctypes pre-commit hook. Version 1.3.0 refined it to preserve special keys that are required for reinstallation. Version 1.3.1 then fixed a scoping issue so that the function only processes Doctype customizations belonging to the current app, preventing unintended modifications to customizations owned by other applications.
