Autoreader

Version 15.5.0 brings two notable additions to Autoreader. Twilio SMS integration has been added, enabling notifications to be sent via text message when new expenses are added — to take advantage of this feature, a Twilio phone number must be configured with a webhook pointing to the Autoreader SMS handler endpoint. Email body handling has also been improved overall.

Additionally, a new rule has been introduced to handle forwarded emails, ensuring that forwarded messages are correctly identified and processed by the Autoreader mapping system.

Check Run

Version 15.10.0 delivers a significant set of improvements to Check Run, with a focus on payment term discounts. New features include automatic discount calculation via a dedicated calculate_payment_term_discount function, discount application on submit, and a new Payment Discount Account field. Supporting test data and tests for discount scenarios have also been added.

Several bug fixes accompany these features, addressing date control handling, mandatory field validation, posting date formatting and type conversion, and the correct display of discount and due date information. The Paid Amount field now correctly reflects any applied discount.

Electronic Payments

Version 15.7.0 introduces the ability to create Payment Methods directly from a Supplier or Customer record, streamlining the setup process for electronic payments. Error messages displayed during Payment Method deletion have been improved to provide clearer guidance, and the Company field has been removed from the add Payment Method flow to simplify the experience - new payment methods are added for all companies with properly-configured Electronic Payment Settings.

A minor bug fix was also applied to remove an unintended company option, alongside internal code formatting updates.

Inventory Tools

Version 15.5.0 marks an important transition for Inventory Tools: the custom strict UOM feature has been deprecated in favor of ERPNext's native UOM enforcement. Any affected settings and data have been migrated as part of this update, allowing users to continue managing unit-of-measure restrictions without relying on the custom implementation.

Test Utils

Version 1.1.0 adds a bylines pre-commit hook that automatically generates author bylines in markdown files. Several other pre-commit hook improvements were also made, including a new translations validation hook, email literal detection within the customization validation hook, and extended copyright validation to cover SQL files.

On the bug fix side, clean_customized_doctypes cleaning behavior has been corrected, and the validate_customizations app lookup in GitHub Actions pre-commit runs has been fixed to resolve issues encountered in CI environments.
